Virtual
Coaching
I have been coaching virtually for almost a decade. My virtual coaching sessions are scheduled using Zoom, but coaching clients infrequently request a different platform and this can be accommodated. Virtual coaching is not a “poor substitute” for face-to-face coaching. Many people prefer virtual coaching, for the flexibility it provides. A recent study showed the outcomes from virtual v’s face-to-face coaching do not differ (Michalik & Schermuly, Journal of Managerial Psychology).
Workshops

Length of Engagement
A 6-hour coaching engagement will normally run over a period of 4-6 months and longer engagements of 10-hours will run over a 9-12 month period. To maintain momentum, I suggest coaching sessions are scheduled every 3-4 weeks.
Between coaching sessions, I provide you with resources to support your coaching goals/objective. This might include articles, videos, podcasts, books, courses/programs.
Employer-funded Engagements
In an employer-funded coaching engagement, a meeting with all three parties present is often scheduled at the beginning (to ensure alignment of the coaching objective/s) and another at the end (to review progress toward the coaching objective/s). In a full-year engagement, a mid-point check-in can also be valuable. While these alignment meetings are extremely beneficial, they are optional and included at the employer’s request.
Just one session?
If we’ve worked together before and you’re facing a challenge, feeling stuck, or simply need space to think something through, a single session can be just what you need to move forward.
I also support senior leaders who are preparing for their next career move. Often, just one to three sessions can bring the clarity they need — to step into roles that are not just new, but genuinely motivating and fulfilling.
